China Blasts Canada For Hosting Dalai Lama

Oct 30, 2007 Author: Kevin | Filed under: Canada, China, Politics

Wow, All I can say is WOW! China of all people are blasting a nation who promotes peace and equal rights for hosting someone that is being oppressed by China. China is not known for being a great human rights nation. How can they, in their right mind, blast Canada for hosting someone who has their people killed for no reason at all?

Everyone seems afraid to put sanctions on China because most of our cheap products come from there. I admit that I would miss all of the products that they made if we did ban their exports. However, they should not be telling other countries they are wrong for hosting someone. He is not a threat to China, he is not a terrorist, he is not even a bad person. Why would China care if we hosted him? Mind your own business China.

When Jessica Biel’s Umbrella Attacks

Oct 26, 2007 Author: Kevin | Filed under: Celebrity, Paparazi

You have to, at some point, feel bad for celebrities. They know that they are going to be hounded by the paparazi, and some of them deal with it well. Most of them, however, don’t deal with it well and it gets to them one way or another. Some poeple have started recording the paparazi on video, which seems dumb to me. Some people hit or push the paparazi, I won’t mention names ;).

Jessica Biel has decided to use her umbrella to guard herself against the paparazi’s weapons of mass photographic destruction. She “bumps” into one, and then says to get out of her way. She nearly walks straight into a tree just after that. I’m glad she didn’t because the paparazi would have had a field day with that.

OiNK will be back thanks to Pirate Bay

Oct 26, 2007 Author: Kevin | Filed under: File Sharing, News

You can always count on The Pirate Bay team to throw a slap in the face of the record industry. Like stated in my previous post, there is a replacement coming out and it is expected to be out within the next few days.

ThePirateBay.org crew are bringing this to you according to TorrentFreak.com. The name of this site is called BOiNK. It is a direct shot at the record industry and the authorities saying they can win the battles but they will never win the war.

I have to admit this was back a lot faster than I had expected. But then again, when have the Pirate Bay team ever been slow at anything?

To get all the up to the second info on it check out the story below on TorrentFreak which is the go to source for this sort of thing.

OiNK Admin Busted - OiNK Users Could Be Next

Oct 25, 2007 Author: Kevin | Filed under: File Sharing, Internet

If you’re anyone you have probably heard about OiNK one time or another. While the news claimed that OiNK was the first place pre-release albums show up, they were wrong, they usually show up on private ftps, dumpsites, or sites in .eu/.us. However, people grab them from there and curry them over to OiNK.

Anyway, the owner got arrested two days ago in his home in England. This will prove to be a major blow to the P2P piracy scene. I’m sure another site will be back up, if not already, to fill the void left by OiNK.

According to the OiNK site, all users of the site are currently being investigated. While most people, including me, believe this is just a scare tactic, it would suck if it was not. In Canada, we pay a tax on all recordable media which allows us to download/upload mp3s and not have it be illegal. That is why the RIAA hates Canada. Other countries are not so lucky. Apparently 50% of the OiNK members are in the United States, where the RIAA operates.

I have compiled a list of great resources for the latest information related to the OiNK raids!

Download Mp3s from Myspace (WORKING)

Oct 23, 2007 Author: Kevin | Filed under: General, Internet, Myspace

Do you remember the good old days where the download link actually worked on myspace? How else are we going to get the new preview songs? Why should you have to log back into myspace just to hear it?

Most of the myspace mp3 downloaders have broken and no longer work. However, MyspaceGrab currently have a way to work around this and allows you to download mp3s.

I didn’t link the site to keep myself out of trouble, however a simple google search will help you find it!

Happy Downloading

If you have a blog you will most likely want to have lots of visitors come to it to read what you have to say. Also the more people you have visiting your site the more popular it becomes and you can actually start making more money if you want.

BlogRush is the creation of internet marketing guru John Reese. It allows blog users to display a widget on their blog that has links (via rss) to other blogs individual posts. You get one credit for every time the widget is shown on your page. Lets say you have 100 page views that day, then you will have 100 credits. With one credit, you will have one of your blog posts shown on another persons widget.

I have had this running on my site for a little while now and I have noticed my blog traffic has increased greatly. I’d even say it has increased traffic up to about 25% on a daily basis.

The best part of this increased traffic from BlogRush is that it is targeted traffic. People who want to read about what you wrote, will only be the ones clicking on the links. This means they are likely to stay and read your site and also come back on a regular basis.

BlogRush is here to stay and should be used on every bloggers page if they have one. This is one of the best says for free targeted traffic and you don’t even have to do anything.

Namecheap October Coupon

Oct 20, 2007 Author: Kevin | Filed under: Coupons

We all know that the prices have gone up on Namecheap to $9.29USD.

As someone who has almost 30 domain names I know it can get expensive. The other October coupon ran out on the 14th when the prices ran up.

Here is the new one that lowers the price to $8.41. I hope this will get way more people to sign up so that they can lower the price after they get a swarm of volume.
