One of the major factors in raising your search engine ranking and Google PageRank are backlinks. If you don’t have them you don’t get much traffic or PageRank. In later articles I will be detail the methods in which you should get backlinks to your site.

In this article I will list some resources that you can use to check backlinks to your site. These are some of the best tools around.

The main ones you can use, that is straight forward, are Google, MSN, and Yahoo.

When you go to any of these search engines all you have to type in is the following (without the quotes): “link: urlhere.com”.
ex: link: drivingwithflats.com.

A new backlink finder I just found is called http://www.backlinkwatch.com. It is a great little too, and shows a whole bunch of info about the backlink including their pagerank. The downside to this tool is you can wait a long time for it to finish analyzing all your backlinks if you have a lot. If you don’t mind the wait you should give it a try and see how many backlinks you have and how successful your linking campaign is.

This was a short post, but I just wanted to share a few tools that I use to check backlinks. Good luck and feel free to leave comments or questions.

Make Money Selling Links On Your Site

Sep 3, 2007 Author: Kevin | Filed under: Make Money, Webmasters

While there are many different companies offering text link exchanges, I personally use two that I believe are the best.

The two are Text-Link-Ads and LinkWorth.

1) Text-Link-Ads: This site is hard to get your blog submitted to. However, once you get in you are in good! The downside is that you have to wait for someone to decide to get a link on your website. This took me a month or so but it is a monthly payment in my paypal account. If you can get over 4 of these you are making some good cash every month. I would highly suggest them and see if you can get submitted.

Sign up for them here http://www.text-link-ads.com

2) LinkWorth: I am new to these guys and am awaiting my blogs and sites to be approved. I have seen many sites using them and they appear to be making good money without any problems. The upside to their system is they allow you to have your regular websites along with blogs submitted. This means you can make money through all sites and not just blogs. I have submitted all my blogs along with my other network of sites.

If you want to sign up with them go to http://www.linkworth.com.

If anyone knows of any other great text link sales websites please feel free to let me know so I can update this post with the latest ones.

So you have a blog, now what? One of the main reasons people blog is just for fun. However, blogging can be very rewarding both socially and financially! Sites have been popping up like crazy allowing users to write posts for cash. The best part is you are paid via paypal.

These services have many restrictions. The main ones, generally, are that you must have some Google Pagerank, and have a site with 10 posts a month for the past 3 months. This means that all you have to do is set up a site (you usually need a domain name) blog with interesting blogs for 3 months then apply. You should also get some good backlinks to your site. Just go around to different blogs and comment and build friendships and exchange links. Do not post stupid comments that are not good feedback for the users site/post.

Below I’m going to outline the main sources of income for bloggers.

1) Pay Per Post: This is one of the big fish in the blogging for cash world. They have so many offers available for you. I have 192 offers available to me at the time I am writing this article for all of you. The ads range from 5 dollars per post up to 35 dollars. If you have a page rank of 5 or more there are lots of offers worth hundreds of dollars for just one post.

Pay Per Post pay you for your approved posts every 30 days. From Pay Per Post alone I earn anywhere from $15-35 dollars per day off ONE blog. This is not much but when you add more than one blog you could be making what you make on a daily basis!

The thing I like best about Pay Per Post is the fact that there are always offers available for you. I’ve done them at 3am after coming home from a bar and there are still great offers at that time available. The second best thing about Pay Per Post is the fact they have amazing staff that help you until you solve a problem.

If you want to try it out and see if your blog can get in try clicking the image below and make some cash.

2) Blogitive: Blogitive are the second largest player in this blogging for cash business. I am also a member of their site. They operate on a different business model. They offer 5 dollars for every post. Nothing more, nothing less. They give out offers on a daily basis but sometimes you miss them and can go days without seeing any offers available. The upside is that you could sign on and have over 10 offers available to you. This has happened to me a few times and it is pretty good. They payout on a weekly basis, which is nice. Sometimes I forget I made money from them until i see a paypal email saying that they paid me. They are as strict as Pay Per Post but are also as good.

You can sign up with Blogitive by visiting http://www.blogitive.com.

3) Blogsvertise: This bunch are fairly new to the blogging for cash business. I rarely get offers from them, but when I do they are usually in the amount of 10 dollars. They, like Pay Per Post, pay out on a 30 day from post basis. It is always good to sign up for as many of these things as possible to get mulitple streams of income. I have to say that they also have great customer support for all bloggers.

I hope that this has helped all of you to learn how to earn more money from blogging. Stay tuned for a post on how to make money from just selling links off of your website!
